AdBrite - The Internet's Ad Marketplace: "AdBrite, 'The Internet's Ad Marketplace', is an e-commerce site. Rather than selling books, CDs, or rare antiques, we sell ad space on thousands of websites.
Like Ebay, many AdBrite users are both buyers and sellers (advertisers and publishers). That's why our homepage doesn't say 'advertisers go here' and 'publishers go there'. There are, however, two distinct things you can do with AdBrite -- buy and sell ad space -- so we'll address them separately here."
AdBrite - BLOG: "Who knew a year ago that AdBrite would go from servicing 4,200 sites (which we thought was awesome at the time), to almost 16,000! (which well think is small someday:) According to ComScore Media Metrix, AdBrite reaches more than 55 million unique users monthly.
Because of this growth, and my strengthened focus on AdBrite's new features such as Video and Banner ads, I've decided to bring in a CEO to help lead AdBrite to our next phase growth. I'm still the Chief Product Officer (and Chairman), continuing to build fun new ways to monetize the Internet for publishers and advertisers.
Now to introduce you to AdBrites new CEO, and my new partner, Iggy Fanlo!
Prior to joining AdBrite, Iggy was President of Shopping.com. He was part of a small team that took the company public in 2004, then sold it to Ebay in 2005. Iggy was also a Managing Director of both Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan. And in addition to his hardcore credentials and vast experience, Iggy's a great guy who believes deeply in AdBrite and the future of online advertising.
Welcome aboard Iggy! "

Building Websites with Joomla!: "Joomla! is a fully featured web content management system and was created in Summer 2005 as a fork from the hugely popular Mambo CMS with many of the original Mambo developers moving their efforts to Joomla! While still in its first release, it is supported by an active and well organized open source development team and community. Joomla! is both easy to use at the entry level for creating basic websites, whilst having the power and flexibility to support complex web applications. Joomla! implements the core requirements of a full-featured CMS. It has a powerful and extensible templating system with the ability to upload and manage many different data types. User access control, content approval, rich administrative control, and content display scheduling are all built-in. New features and extensions are constantly added to the core system, with many more being available and supported by the community."
